Cooperation cluster
Green IT

The objective of the Green IT network is to become established as the most effective cluster in the IT world in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving in computer centres and IT departments, in order to achieve cost savings of at least 10% to 50% through increased energy efficiency, e.g. through the development of software and services for the management and preparation of applications and data in computer centres, the development of new hardware for converting heat from servers, and the development of systems for cost-effective re-use in buildings. Government support for the cooperation cluster came to an end in 2012.
